2. Hosting and Server Log Files

When this website is accessed, server log files are processed automatically (including truncated IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system). The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The website is hosted by:
Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

The provider is based in Germany; the servers used for this website are, however, currently located in the provider's data centre in Hillsboro, Oregon (USA). A transfer to a third country therefore takes place. The basis for this is the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. A level of data protection equivalent to European standards cannot, however, be guaranteed in every case — in particular, access by US authorities cannot be ruled out.

3. Domain, DNS and email

Domain management, DNS and e-mail forwarding for info@aktienatlas.com are handled by Namecheap, Inc., Phoenix (Arizona), USA.

When the website is accessed, DNS queries are resolved via this provider as a technical necessity. If you write to us at the address given, your message will be routed through their servers; in doing so, the sender, recipient, subject line and content are processed.

As the provider is based in the USA, a transfer to a third country takes place. The basis for this is the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. A level of data protection equivalent to European standards cannot, however, be guaranteed in every case — in particular, access by US authorities cannot be ruled out. For confidential matters, please therefore use the postal address given in the imprint (Impressum).

4. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts); no data is transmitted to third parties in this process.

5. Newsletter and report requests (Brevo)

We use the service Brevo to send newsletter, confirmation and report e-mails. Provider: Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

Registration uses the double opt-in procedure: after you sign up, your e-mail address is first stored at Brevo with the status “pending” and you receive an e-mail containing a confirmation link. Only once you have confirmed are you added to the mailing list; without confirmation you receive no further e-mails.

We process your e-mail address, the language identifier (German or English), the origin of the sign-up — the general newsletter or a specific campaign — and the timestamps of registration and confirmation. We need the origin in order to send you exactly what you signed up for: someone who requested a campaign report receives that report, not the general newsletter. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an unsubscribe link is included in every e-mail. Following withdrawal we remove your address from our mailing list and mark it as unsubscribed, so that you are not contacted again even if lists are imported in future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.

Measurement of opens and clicks: Brevo records whether and when an e-mail is opened and whether links it contains are clicked (tracking pixel and link rewriting). This analysis serves to improve our content, is likewise based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and ends when you unsubscribe.

Your data is stored on servers within the EU (France, Germany and Belgium). Brevo does, however, use sub-processors in third countries, in particular for content delivery, web application firewall, and support and maintenance. Depending on the recipient, these transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR together with supplementary measures.

6. Price Charts from TradingView (Two-Click Solution)

On the company profiles we offer a price chart provided by TradingView, Inc. (USA). This chart is not loaded automatically.

As long as you do not request it, not a single connection is established to TradingView and no data is transmitted to them. Instead, you will see a placeholder containing this notice. Only when you click "Load chart" will the chart be loaded; at that point your IP address is transmitted to TradingView, and the provider may process further traffic data and browser information.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant by clicking. As TradingView is based in the USA, a transfer to a third country takes place (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR); a level of protection equivalent to European standards cannot be guaranteed.

Your decision is stored exclusively in your browser's sessionStorage under the key aa:tv-ok, so that you do not have to consent again on every profile. This is not a cookie; the entry is deleted automatically when the browser is closed. You may withdraw your consent by closing the browser or clearing the website data.

7. Reach Measurement (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics is loaded only with your consent via the cookie banner; if you decline or make no choice, the service is not executed.

If you consent, cookies are set and usage data is processed — including a shortened IP address, pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate location, and browser and device details — in order to analyse how the website is used.

The legal basis for storing and reading information on your device is Section 25(1) TDDDG; the subsequent processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. The basis for the transfer is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795), under which Google LLC is certified; the Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR apply in addition.

8. Advertising Measurement (Google Ads)

We use the Google Ads tag, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It is loaded only after your consent via the cookie banner; if you decline or make no choice, it is not executed.

With your consent it is used to measure how our ads perform — that is, whether a visit coming from an ad led to a sign-up — and to build advertising audiences (remarketing). Cookies are set and usage data is processed, including a shortened IP address, the pages visited and browser and device information.

Only these events are measured: requesting a report through the form, and copying the WKN or the ISIN. This data is not combined with any other data we collect.

The legal basis for storing and reading information on your device is Section 25(1) TDDDG, and for the subsequent processing your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the United States — to Google LLC The transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795), under which both companies are certified; the Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR apply in addition.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

Without your consent we only use technically necessary storage: your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so that we do not have to ask again on every visit, and your price-chart choice (see section 6) in sessionStorage, which your browser clears automatically upon closing. Neither is tracking and neither is transmitted to third parties.

Only if you accept in the banner are the analytics cookies of Google Analytics 4 additionally set (see section 7). If you decline or make no choice, this does not happen.

10. Contact

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, and otherwise our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data will be deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
